Canada Experience Class
Canada Experience Class
The Experience Class is a program that permits individuals with at least one year of work experience to permanently immigrate to Canada. The Canada Experience Class is a part of the Express Entry System.
The government of Canada identifies talented individuals already working in the country and wants them to become permanent residents.
The applications in the Canada Experience Class are processed through the Express Entry system. The eligible candidates have to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) and create an online Express Entry profile after which they receive an Invite To Apply (ITA)for a permanent residency before they apply.
The Canadian Experience Class requirements:
The applicants must observe and fit into some requirements. They are:
- They must have at least one year of professional work experience in Canada within three years before the date of application.
- Have language proficiency in a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of at least 5 in initial intermediate or a 7 in, adequate intermediate proficiency. Either one of these, depending on their job level.
- They must plan to live and work outside of the province of Quebec as there is a separate Quebec Experience Class program for those who are working in Quebec and wish to apply for a permanent residence.
Those who are currently working in Canada can apply for this program while they reside and remain in Canada throughout the application process. The Canadian Experience Class is also open to those who are no longer in Canada, they only need to submit their application within 36 months of leaving their job in Canada.
The applications in the Canadian Experience Class are simply selected or rejected based on whether the applicants meet the minimum requirements. If the applicant meets the criteria, he or she is eligible.
- A Golden opportunity for Students
For many graduates, the Canadian Experience Class has the fastest and simple path to acquiring a permanent residence in Canada.
After completing any program or course from a Canadian institution, graduates can remain in the country based on post-graduate work permits. If a graduate gains at least a year of work experience in a skilled or technical field, during this period, then they are eligible to enter the Express Entry system under the Canadian Experience Class.
