These 90 days are for you to prepare for your departure or extend your stay duration. Apart from this, your duration depends upon the following factors:\n<\/p>\n \nTaking a prerequisite course\n<\/strong><\/p>\n If the school or institution you are enrolled in asks you to take up a prior course which is mandatory for admission to the main course. The study permit will be valid until the duration of the prerequisite course, plus an additional year. After you get accepted into the main program, you must then apply to extend your stay as a student.\n<\/p>\n \nCompletion of course before the expiry of the study permit\n<\/strong><\/p>\n If the course you are enrolled in commences early, the permit will be valid for a period of additional 90 days from the date of completion, even if the study permit has a validity of six months more. Your studies will be completed on the date notified by the school on the completion letter, degree or diploma certificate. You must provide a document of proof of the date your school informs you, or the date you get your degree, diploma or certificate.
